I will tell you what i have learned about this token. i was going to say brass, but i think it's copper.  a hair over 1.5 inches. thick and heavy. one side: BUCKEYE ROOT BEER CONTEST COIN VALUE 25c. and on the other: Goldenmoon. and a design. so Buckeye Root Beer has been made (or was) in Toledo Ohio since 1838, one of the first manufacturing. and Goldenmoon was a syrip company who provided the soda shops with the syrup for the coke machines... taps. So one time there was a contest, and the root beer was in it. the token had a value of a quarter. (when did a glass of root beer cost 25 cents?) don't know. (tell me if you know.) 1950s? 1960s? anyway, who wants it?
