Description

This module makes it possible to protect any electronic circuit supplied with direct high voltage against an abnormal consumption due to a circuit failure.
It also protects any feed by preventing excessive flow.
Unlike a current limiting circuit which will continue to apply power, this module releases the circuit and protects all upstream and downstream circuits.
The trip time is extremely fast, of the order of 200 µS.
A neon indicates the presence of the voltage at the output, it goes out when tripping.
A time delay is provided in order to absorb the charging time of any capacitors.
This time delay can be modified by adjusting the value of one or 2 components.
The module can be reset by a push button or by interrupting its power supply.
