Description:
Here is an all transistorized, superheterodyne received designed for the reception of WWV, WWVH, or other International Frequency transmissions. The extreme sensitivity of this instrument permits reception of these standard frequency transmissions anywhere in the world.
Model RHF-1 provides a low-cost means of rapidly checling the calibration of oscillators and frequency standards to an accuracy of up to one part in 10
7
. Other applications include: precision time measurements, receiving standard audio frequencies, pulse code modulation, and radio propragation notices transmitted at these frequencies.
The receiver operates from either a 115/230-volt, power line source, or a 12-volt battery. I.F. frequency, and band width are controlled with a ceramic filter. Output terminals on the rear of the chassis permit the connection of oscilloscopes, to observe beat frequencies.
