    Description

    Gorgeous 90 series Armstrong flute. It has a sterling body and head, and the R prefix in the serial number (90R1078) suggests it was made in 1970. The instrument appears to be in good condition, though there is some grime and tarnish in the hard to reach places, under the keys and mechanisms. The keys all seem to be responsive, and the pads are present, though may be dated. Given the age of the instrument, I'm sure it would benefit from a service. This is an excellent intermediate or step-up instrument from a highly respected US maker. Comes in the original Armstrong case, which shows some slight surface wear, but is in good functional shape with a rich plush blue interior.
