Vintage HIAWATHA "Ace" Rifled Shotgun Slugs Shell Box EMPTY ORIGINAL
Came from my friends 94 year old fathers collection of vintage old Rifle Ammunition boxes.
Manufactured by the Gamble-Skogmo, Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota, made in the USA.
Featuring the Maximun Load of 7/8 ounce Rifled Shotgun Slugs in the 2 3/4"  12 gauge, circa 1970's, 50 years old.
This "Hiawatha Ace Gambles" marked vintage 12 gauge shell box is very rare,
especially with original price tag.
5 Slugs per box, a great standard load for all those who used slugs for hunting.
There is good vintage color on the box, used but in very good shape for its age.
This is a must have for the serious collector of Vintage Rifle Ammunition Boxes of the Hunting memorabilia days.
The 12 guage Shotgun Rifled Slug boxes are much rarer then the usual shell boxes, due to not as many made to use.
These old Antique and Vintage Rifle Ammunition Shell Boxes are becoming harder and harder to find.
There were fewer Rifle ammo Boxes produced compared to the Shotgun Shell Boxes, therefore, harder to find & collect.
