Vintage MCM Emerson Rittenhouse Doorbell Door Bell Chime Beverly C8535 C 8535. Condition is "Used".
Estate sale find.  Appears to be in good preowned condition with minor wear from normal use.  With the flick of a finger the chimes sound beautiful and clear, but the doorbell is otherwise untested.  I believe this unit was sold as the "Beverly" model or maybe the "Mediterranean Beverly".  From what I gather from a google search this model can be wired so that you can have a 4 or 8 note chime melody at the front door, a single note at the rear door, and a different note at the side door.  As a buyer/seller of vintage items I sometimes come across items that are hard to part with.  This is one of those items.  I hope that this doorbell ends up with someone who can put it to good use and appreciate the tonal beauty that it has to offer.  See pics for more details.
