Vintage US made Seco VT Grid Circuit Tester - Model GCT-5 (for testing Tube Amp Grids).
Pulled from working environment. Exterior has quite a few superficial 'non-destructive' rusty spots, fairly stabilized.
Inside paint is intact. Quality components. The aged main electrolytic was replaced, other components are quality original.
The magic eye tube is an RCA Radiotron, with
sharp bright emerald green
fluorescence even under strong surrounding light.
The controls are in good condition as well as the tube sockets. The power cord is still satisfactory. However, the plug is not polarized and it is safer to work with an isolation transformer.
The leather strip handle, although cosmetically acceptable for vintage, should not be fully relied upon for carrying around this relatively heavy tester.
